The Treaded Design:

The Hoosier 11 x 5.5-6 D30A Treaded Tire is one of the best tires for riding off-road with your Onewheel+ XR! It offers increased traction and control of all terrains with its treaded profile. It is more round and carvy than the Hoosier 11 x 6.0-6 Treaded Tire, and a lot more round and carvy than the stock tire. It is one of the roundest tires we have to offer and has a great ability to carve quickly and turn on a dime. The D30A Compound of the Hoosier 11 x 5.5-6 Treaded Tire is firm and the most durable compound available. Deep carves and increased levels of responsiveness are ahead.

The Hoosier 11 x 5.5-6 D30A Treaded Tire is compatible with the Onewheel+ XR, Onewheel+, and original Onewheel. The Hoosier 11 x 5.5-6 D30A Treaded Tire is not compatible with the Onewheel GT, Onewheel Pint X, and Onewheel Pint.

Tire Sealant:

We recommend using tire sealant when installing your new tire. Prevent against flats with Armor-Dilloz Tire Sealant.

Tools for Installation:

The Craft&Ride Tool Kit contains all of the necessary tools to complete your tire change. If you would like to replace your worn or missing fasteners, we also offer the conveniently organized ProRide Hardware Kit.

Recommended Tire Pressure:

We recommend setting your tire pressure to 10% of your body weight and then increasing or decreasing to your liking.

  1. Set your tire pressure to 10% of your body weight. For example, if you weigh 190 lbs, set your tire pressure to 19 PSI. We recommend riding with at least 15-20 PSI if you weigh under 150 lbs.
  2. If you want your tire to be harder and more round, increase your tire pressure a few PSI from 10%. You will get greater range with a higher PSI.
  3. If you want your tire to be softer and more stable, decrease your tire pressure a few PSI. You will absorb impact from drops easier with a lower PSI.

bonjour, ce roule avec ce pneu depuis 1000km, ma pression est de 2.5 bars mais je descend jusqu'à 1.8bars pour le off road.
*Sur bitume il est redoutable d agilité et peut vite vous éjecter à haute vitesse en cas d'écart . son relief donne pas mal de vibrations mais cela reste raisonnable.
*Sur piste gravier , terre, herbe c'est du velour . il est tout aussi réactif et accrocheur.
*Sur chemin avec rigole ou gouttière , il devient très technique pour conserver sa trajectoire vu son arrondie c'est plus le chemin qui vous dicte la trajectoire que vous. Et vos tendons en prennent un sacré coup.
*Coté consommation d énergie de batterie c'est mieux que l originale.Quelques pour-cents .
*Hauteur de gomme , bien que plus petit vous risquez de sécher sur certain obstacle et c'est bien à vous d adapter votre technique.
Franchement il procure du plaisir mais faut rester sur ses gardes.

Buttery smooth on and off road

I love this tire! Handles great on pavement and just as well off road. Have been looking to upgrade the stock Vega for a while and this tire does not disappoint. The smaller size and curve of the tire does cause a light wobble factor to kick in at higher speeds (for me at least) but I'm sure that's because I'm new to the tire and used to riding the flat Vega. My point, great tire! Better, tighter curves and is butter smooth off road.

Great overall tire but a confusing observation.

After only riding slicks this is my first treaded. This tire feels great over all off-road and on pavement and isn’t too loud at all. But for some reason it gives the board trouble specifically in steep medium holes on pavement.

SUPER SUPER CARVY

This 5.5 loves to carve like no tire you have ridden before! I think it feels the same as a Pint or Pint X or even easier to turn. Higher speeds are now more of a challenge but this board lives in the woods so we will see if I can carve around rocks and roots easier now. I work at a registered One wheel dealer with many people riding my personal board on a daily basis and every one agrees it LOVES to carve! Once this tire is finished off I will try the 6-6 to see if its more of a meet in the middle sort of tire so that higher speed street rides will be easier.

Good tire for low to medium speed riding

I'm one of the unusual riders who actually enjoyed my vega. This tire is fun and agile, but it does not like to be aggressively rocked side to side on the street so rail-to-rail turns need a tiny pause in between. It can become unstable under high side loading. It makes sense with the Vega being a kart tire the thick walls are made for extreme back and forth maneuvers at high speeds. This tire doesn't have that rigidity which makes it maneuverable, but in my experience less predictable when you really push it.

That being said I really love how quiet it is and the soft rubber offers a really smooth ride even though it is treaded. It can handle some pretty aggressive high speed carving. The smaller width also allows really tight low speed turns which is pretty fun.

A match made in heaven

I bought the Hoosier for my OG pint first and then my XR. Tread is a little different for both but changes the Onewheel game compared to stock tires.Just do it, Pretty much what everyone else said. Changes everything about the ride. This is what floating really feels like. Thank you so much Nick and everyone at Craft&Ride for great customer service and making us feel like we are more than just a customer. I have rode motorcycles for year. And work in the Powersport industry till this day and have never had better customer service than Craft&Ride. You guys are killing it.
