Craft&Ride is proud to introduce the Hoosier 11 x 6.0-6 Treaded Tire for the Onewheel+ XR. This is a top-tier tire for crushing the off-road.

The Treaded Design:

The Hoosier 11 x 6.0-6 Treaded Tire is one of the best tires for riding off-road with your Onewheel+ XR! It offers increased traction and control of all terrains with its treaded profile. It is more round and carvy than the stock tire without sacrificing stability. This tire is available in two unique compounds that each completely enhance your experience.

Compound:

Choose from D30A and D10A compounds. D30A is the most durable and firmest compound. D10A is the softest compound with the smoothest and grippiest ride.

Compatibility:

Model Compatible
Onewheel GT No
Onewheel+ XR Yes
Onewheel Pint X No
Onewheel Pint No
Onewheel+ Yes
Original Onewheel Yes

The Hoosier 11 x 6.0-6 Treaded Tire is compatible with the Onewheel+ XR, Onewheel+, and original Onewheel. The Hoosier 11 x 6.0-6 Treaded Tire is not compatible with the Onewheel GT, Onewheel Pint X, and Onewheel Pint.

The Craft&Ride x Burris All-Terrain Treaded Tire for the Onewheel Pint & Pint X is now available here.

Tire Sealant:

We recommend using tire sealant when installing your new tire. Prevent against flats with Armor-Dilloz Tire Sealant.

Tools for Installation:

The Craft&Ride Tool Kit contains all of the necessary tools to complete your tire change. If you would like to replace your worn or missing fasteners, we also offer the conveniently organized ProRide Hardware Kit.

Recommended Tire Pressure:

We recommend setting your tire pressure to 10% of your body weight and then increasing or decreasing to your liking.

  1. Set your tire pressure to 10% of your body weight. For example, if you weigh 190 lbs, set your tire pressure to 19 PSI. We recommend riding with at least 15-20 PSI if you weigh under 150 lbs.
  2. If you want your tire to be harder and more round, increase your tire pressure a few PSI from 10%. You will get greater range with a higher PSI.
  3. If you want your tire to be softer and more stable, decrease your tire pressure a few PSI. You will absorb impact from drops easier with a lower PSI.
  4. Call or text Nick at +1 (909) 609-5719 if you have any questions.

This product comes with:

  • One Hoosier 11 x 6.0-6 Treaded Tire for Onewheel+ XR
  • Craft&Ride Stickers (Please leave an order note with which stickers you would specifically like and we will include them if they are in stock!)

Change of pace

This was my third tire so I decided to try a treaded one. Initially going from slick to treaded was a significant difference. After a couple days though, I found it to be a even more pleasant riding experience. There is a little road noise with the tread but I live on a island. So the need to go from pavement to turf is paramount. Well worth it.

Fantastic tire

After a stroke of bad luck with receiving 2 defective Enduro tires in a row, I determined I didn't wanna push my luck with an Enduro for a while, so I talked to Nick and he hooked me up with this tire as a replacement, first of all, I love C&R cuz they didn't abandon me and helped me all along the way and made things right. This tire ended up being perfect with no imperfections, after getting it installed I can say I love how it is still carvey while also giving you a ton of grip off road. Overall a great tire, but more importantly this is a great company, it was clearly made for riders by riders!

Great

Great tire. I run it at 13 psi bc It is more rounder on the side so it's easier to turn and it was a little too much for me but letting a little air out helped a lot.

Second Hoosier purchase, coming from slick, good tire

I think my slick was .5” more narrow as well, but I wanted to go wider if possible anyway. I saw a thread online where someone said 6.5 fits the xr but may rub above 18psi. I usually ride somewhere around that so decided to get the 6.0, and usually have anxiety about hitting the buy button in case I’m accidentally selecting the wrong size but luckily c&r puts “for Onewheel+ XR” in the title.

I used the c&r video on YouTube for the tire change as it’s been a little while, and it was mostly smooth. Tire took quite a while to seat the second bead and i was low key a little scare of having the tire so close to my balcony glass as it approached 70 psi before finally popping in. It was at this point I remember I had stripped the valve stem and it had fallen into the seat a bit and was leaking quite badly. Upon releasing the lock on the air compresser the excess air released forcefully and shot dirt all over the place from one of my cactii. Lol. In any case upon seating a new valve stem there exists a small leak which I have yet to fully investigate as it’s only needing a few psi overnight, but I suspect it has something to do with my previous efforts to remove the stem without proper tools and should be an easy fix.

My one complaint is more with Hoosier itself not indicating a direction of travel, and so I’m not 100% sure it’s mounted properly. It rides really well, and the pattern only affects the diagonal half of the treads which currently are oriented intersecting the arches of my feet, pointed toward my heel edge riding goofy. I chose this way since I have a wider turn radius frontside and believed it would allow me to keep the edge on a wide turn better. Part of my wants to flip it and see if there’s a difference though.

Tldr; great tire, fits great on the xr, prefer tread over the slick, unsure of mileage currently but anticipating a slight increase
