Craft&Ride is proud to introduce the Vega 11.5 x 6.0-6 Slick Tire for the Onewheel+ XR. This is a top-tier tire for crushing streets.

The Slick Design:

The Vega 11.5 x 6.0-6 Slick Tire is one of the best tires for riding streets with your Onewheel+ XR! The Vega 11.5 x 6.0-6 Slick Tire is the more round and carvy version of the stock Onewheel+ XR tire. It is one of the most durable tires on the market. Although it is more round and carvy than the stock tire, it does not sacrifice stability. Its slick profile will ensure the smoothest ride on and off-road. This tire is available in two unique compounds. The firm MCM Compound offers even more durability than the stock Onewheel+ XR tire. The soft MCS Compound offers a more smooth and grippy ride, especially at lower tire pressures. Increased levels of responsiveness are ahead.

Compatibility:

Model Compatible
Onewheel GT No
Onewheel+ XR Yes
Onewheel Pint X No
Onewheel Pint No
Onewheel+ Yes
Original Onewheel Yes

The Vega 11.5 x 6.0-6 Slick Tire is compatible with the Onewheel+ XR, Onewheel+, and original Onewheel. The Vega 11.5 x 6.0-6 Slick Tire is not compatible with the Onewheel GT, Onewheel Pint X, and Onewheel Pint.

The Vega 10.5 x 4.5-6 Slick Tire for the Onewheel Pint is now available here.

Tire Sealant:

We recommend using tire sealant when installing your new tire. Prevent against flats with Armor-Dilloz Tire Sealant.

Tools for Installation:

The Craft&Ride Tool Kit contains all of the necessary tools to complete your tire change. If you would like to replace your worn or missing fasteners, we also offer the conveniently organized ProRide Hardware Kit.

Recommended Tire Pressure:

We recommend setting your tire pressure to 10% of your body weight and then increasing or decreasing to your liking.

  1. Set your tire pressure to 10% of your body weight. For example, if you weigh 190 lbs, set your tire pressure to 19 PSI. We recommend riding with at least 15-20 PSI if you weigh under 150 lbs.
  2. If you want your tire to be harder and more round, increase your tire pressure a few PSI from 10%. You will get greater range with a higher PSI.
  3. If you want your tire to be softer and more stable, decrease your tire pressure a few PSI. You will absorb impact from drops easier with a lower PSI.
  4. Call or text Nick at +1 (909) 609-5719 if you have any questions.

I am shocked at how well this performs over the stock tire, the shape and super soft compound make for one hell of a ride!

More nimble than the stock tire but more stable than Hoosiers and Burris slicks. The MCS is a softer compound compared to the stock Vega that you can feel out of the wrapper and that you'll notice as soon as you hit the road, but youll still feel bumps more than some of the softer Hoosier and Burris options out there. With a firmness value of 49 and a weight of 44.8oz, it's kind of the goldilocks of tires. If you like really soft tires, youll be disappointed with it, but if you just want a better all round tire than the stock Vega this is the one for you. I've put about 58 miles of mixed terrain riding on it (shitty sidewalks, street, gravel, trails, and grass) and it's a really nice ride. Faster than the stock Vega and it gets better range too. I also love how it doesn't pick up every rock and piece of glass on the road like the stock Vega and some other tires that I've ridden have.

MCS is certainly not a soft tire, and it is not a tire that carves well, but it does have an interesting compound, there are no stones stuck in the tire compared to the stock vega tire🤷🏼‍♂️
thanks again for the best service ever🤙

Really liking the 6.0 instead of 6.5

Went with the smaller and harder compound on the Vega. So far I'm digging it! Being rounder it definitely makes my XR feel more pinty. Let's hope it will last like a Burris slick does. Definitely liking it better then the stock Vega. Thanks guys !
